A SENSORY JOURNEY TO THE UNDERWORLD WORLD

The city's new aquatic attraction is set to be a rave with families with kids . On a busy day, the ticket queue to gate is an hour long.

Aquaria KLCC is located at the Concourse levels of the state-of-the-art, landmark development Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, which is just a five-minute walk from from the Petronas Twin Towers. Aquaria KLCC is open from 10am to 10pm daily with the last admission at 9pm. Admission charges for a single entry are at RM38 for adults and RM26 for children aged 3 to 12.

 

 

 

Where to Shop in Kuala Lumpur

Whether you are searching for a pair of antiquated earrings, a designer tog, a tailored suit or a box of handmade chocolates, KL can hit you with something really special without necessarily burning a hole in your pocket.

Home to KL's busiest shopping district, Bukit Bintang consists of numerous malls offering a mass of temptations ranging from high end to high street products, catering to all tastes and budgets. On a stroll along Jalan Bukit Bintang you will discover some charming shops with a nice sprinkling of cafes and eateries lining the thoroughfare.

To be a fashion-step ahead of everyone else, get into Sungei Wang which perennially attracts throngs of hip young people roaming the racks, looking for the latest designs and trends in fashion and acessories.

No trip to KL would be complete without a visit to Berjaya Times Square, the ˇ°Mother of all mallsˇ±. The monorail connects Times Square in Jalan Imbi to Bukit Bintang; Maju Junction and Sogo at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.

Suria KLCC, located at the foot of Petronas Twin Towers, is a shopper's delight with an impressive corp of chic boutiques , the world's leading watch and jewellery houses as well as fashion's top names.

30 minutes' drive from the KL city centre lies a swanky and mammoth shopping centre in the golden triangle of Petaling Jaya. The popular 1 Utama, Ikea, Ikano Power Centre and Tesco are located here. The Curve had just open its door in December 2004 and The Tropics will soon open here too.

Malls in KL are generally open from 10am to 10pm, most of them for 365 days a year. The big Mega Sale is held for 6 weeks from late July to early September.
